Vancouver Volunteer Regiment Artillery 1917
These photos came from the Vancouver Archives an are titled Vancouver Volunteer Regiment. We believe this is an early title for the artillery recruiting unit in Vancouver. Many of the early personnel files for artillerymen going enlisting in 1915 are annotated as having joined "Vancouver Volunteer Reserve, Boorman's Battery". The first set of photos is from a water crossing exercise date ca.1917.
The second set of photos from the Vancouver Archives are also labeled Vancouver Volunteer Regiment Artillery with a date of ca. 1917.
