Regimental Nominal Roll
It is my intent to establish a nominal roll of all members that have served with the 15th Field Artillery Regiment, RCA at some time in their life. I currently have a list of 3,419 names of people that have been in the unit, or it's perpetuated units. That list will surely grow substantially. I believe that the list will probably reach 10,000! Rather amazing once you add in their partners, their children and their descendants. How many families in Vancouver has the Regiment touched?
The format that I envision is one that I've used for my own nominal roll entry. It provides basic information such as TOS (taken on strength), the day we officially joined the unit; key promotion years; Operational tour dates; SOS (Struck Off Strength) the day we officially retired; civilian achievements if we wish to have it listed and finally the abbreviations for honours and awards. The photo should be of you in uniform. Looking forward to any comments or suggestions that you might have. AND looking forward to receiving your bio entry! email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'm already starting the nominal roll!
