The 11th (Reserve) Anti-Aircraft Regiment, The Royal Canadian Artillery was redesignated the 43rd Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment, RCA on 1 April 1946.

Gunner William Charles Beale
Passed away in Vancouver, March 10, 1946, in his 64th year, late residence RR 2, Milner. Served with the CFA in the First Great War. Funeral service Thursday, March 14, at 1:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Chimes, Harron Bros. Ltd., 55 East 10th Ave. Interment, Field of Honour, Mountain View Cemetery.
Gunner Beale enlisted with Boorman's Battery, Vancouver Volunteer Reserve on 9 July 1915.

Gunner Samuel Robert Blair
Formerly well known in Montreal, Samuel R. Blair, electrical superintendent of the Newfoundland Pulp and Paper Mills, Limited, died recently in his office in Bowater, Newfoundland, of a sudden heart attack, it was reported here yesterday.
Mr. Blair, who was in his 54th year, was born in Limerick, Ireland, and came to Canada in 1912, to remain until 1928 when he went to Newfoundland to join the electrical department of the Newfoundland Pulp and Paper Mills.
He was well known in sporting circles and was a member of ST. George’s Masonic Lodge, No. 440. He is survived by his wife and three children, Dorothy, attending Mount Allison University; Gordon, attending McGill University, and Brian at home.
Gunner Blair served with 68th Battery, 16th Brigade, Canadian Field Artillery in Northern Russia during World War I.

Passed away suddenly January 28, 1946, at his late residence, 3814 W. 21st Ave., in his 57th year. Survived by his loving wife, Jessie; one daughter, (Mary) Mrs. Donald Dennis, Vancouver; one sone, Robert Mulvin of Toronto; 2 sisters, Miss Ethel Mulvin of Vancouver and Mrs. E.D. Parker of Winnipeg; 2 brothers, W. John and Vernon W. Mulvin of Vancouver. Funeral service Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Simmons and McBride Funeral Chapel, Broadway at Maple, Rev. Hugh M. Rae officiating. Internment Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
