New Year's Day Levee Breakfast
The Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' mess have an annual tradition of meeting for breakfast prior to the New Years' Day Levee. The start of this tradition is lost in time and only a few theories as to the reason it came into being exist. It was either the end of the evening's festivities or a lonely Regimental Sergeant Major that insisted that all would join him for breakfast to bring in the New Year. |
