Canadian Forces' Decoration (CD)
​The Canadian Forces' Decoration is awarded to officers and Non-Commissioned Members of the Canadian Forces who have completed twelve years of service. The decoration is awarded to all ranks, who have a good record of conduct. The decoration is awarded to the regular forces, reserve forces, officers of the Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC), Canadian Rangers and holders of honorary appointments in the CF.

Albert Head
The following photos are logged into the Museum Accession Book as 40 Slides - 43 MAA Regt at Albert Head VI '71'. I'm not sure what the VI indicates nor what the '71' entails. They've been placed in the 1956 yearbook due to Graham Blyth having Lieutenant-Colonel rank. The slide order has been based on the activity that appears to be taking place. Victoria Day Salute
The 43rd Medium Anti-Aircraft Regiment, RCA fires the Victoria Day salute using 6 pounder anti-tank guns.
Any additional information as to the detailed circumstances for the day would be greatly appreciated.

The 9 Pounder RML
​(correct designation to be confirmed)
The 43rd Medium Anti-Aircraft lends their 9 pounder to the 5th West Coast Harbour Defence Battery for use in their sunset ceremony over the summer. This gun appears to have been received from the 102nd Coast Regiment RCA when the 2 units were combined.  The Times-Colonist newspaper is dated 20​ June 1956.
