9 Pounder, Mark I, 8-cwt, Rifled Muzzle Loader for Land Service mounted on a ca. 1840 field carriage, No. 1 on the South side of the Section Militaire du cimetière Mont-Royal, on a hill overlooking the military gravestones.

Front, side and rear view - This 9 pounder appears in reasonably good shape given its exposure to the weather. The barrel is mounted on a ca. 1840 field carriage and the seats lack the leather rests with their supports. 

Cypher, stamps and other markings - The numbers close to the breech (8-1-9) represent the weight of the barrel (hundredweight-quarters-pounds) which would be equivalent to 933 lbs. RGF No. unknown

Wheels - Reconstructed with material that does not match the original design.
