Front, side and rear view - 9 Pounder RGF No 226 is in fairly good shape. The two wheels are from a different style gun. The seats with storage bins and leather straps are missing. There does not appear to be any gun stores.
Cypher, stamps and other markings - The barrel is stamped with Queen Victoria's cypher (1837 - 1901). the numbers close to the breech (8-1-6) represent the weight of the barrel (hundredweight-quarters-pounds) which would be equivalent to 930. The arrow indicates it has been proofed and accepted for service. The trunnion is stamped R-G-F No 226 I 1872 which would indicate that it is serial number 226 manufactured in 1872 in the Mark II design. The end of the barrel is stamped Firth's Steel 2754 which indicates manufacture by Thomas Firth and Sons.
Wheels - The wheels on this gun appear to belong to the SBML in the background.
Gun Stores - Appears to be none.
