Canada Day 2023

The Regiment sent two guns to fire the Canada Day 21 Gun salute at Deadman's Island. Unfortunately, there were no spectators allowed again this year. The Vancouver Police Department provided an escort for the guns and returned to Bessborough Armoury where they dined with the Gunners.

​On July 1, 2023, Members of 39 Canadian Brigade Group were present for the Vancouver Canadians Game on Canada Day. To kick off the game, 2nd Lieutenant Kakish from 15th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery threw the first pitch. Additionally, a flag party was present for the National Anthem.

Several former members of the unit joined up with Ian Newby's Wetern Museum of the Armed Forces for participation in the Aldergrove Canada Day parade and Aldergrove Legion display.
