Defence Policy Review 11 June
The Vancouver Artillery Association brought out the 25 Pounder to the Defence Policy Review session in Langley. Fortunately we were able to secure a lift as the FAT needs some mechanical work to get it roadworthy once again. The day was wet and dreary and kept the crowds away. Thanks to Darren Kostinuk, Bob Mugford, Doug Loney and Ernie Kovacs for coming out in the rain.

The Vancouver Artillery Association was also involved inside the Langley Events Centre as participants in the Defence Policy Review process. Sponsored by the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) the event was intended to educate Canadians in what the Canadian Armed Forces look like today and ask for their input as to where it needs to go in the future. John Brownlee-Baker, Al Woo, Heather Garrison, Jim Garrison and Leon Jensen provided their input. The attendance might have been low from your average Canadian but the comments were invaluable. Take some time and assist the Minister of National Defence on their website. Your voice is important!
