The 15th Field Artillery Regiment has several options available for supporters that would like to assist the unit in moving forward financially. The Regimental Society and the Museum & Archives Society are both registered charities and have several exciting programs that need your assistance.
15th Field Artillery Regimental Society
The Regimental Society has a successful history of involvement in supporting the Regiment. Starting with support for the renovations to the Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' Mess, the Society continued with renovations to the Officers' Mess.
The Regimental Society has also focused its attention on the Junior Ranks of the unit with support for soldiers attending sporting events as both participants and attendees. In addition, it has provided bursaries to allow soldiers to further their education.
The Regimental Society also provides support to the Vancouver Artillery Association as it promotes The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery through displays of historical artifacts and participation in local events.

15th Field Artillery Regiment RCA Museum and Archives Society
The Regimental Museum was established to collect, preserve, display & interpret Canadian military artifacts. It does this by maintaining an archive of photographs, documents and publications. It also runs the museum which is open to the public without admission fees.
The museum space in Bessborough Armoury is filled with artifacts primarily focused on 15th Field Artillery Regiment and its predecessors. The inventory includes vintage anti-aircraft guns, field pieces and vehicles that provide a visual history of the soldiers that serevd before our generation.
The resources required to maintain the Regimental Museum are provided by a group of dedicated volunteers and the donations from individuals interested in preserving our military history.

Legacy Gifts
There are several ways that you can leave a gift to the charitable agency of your choice. You can name the agency as a recipient of the residue of your estate in whole or as a proportion using percentages. The residue is the amount that remains after taxes, administrative expenses and your heirs have received their specific gifts or proportion. Sample wording could be as simple as: “I bequeath the residue of my estate (or _______% of the residue of my Estate) to the 15th Field Artillery Regimental Society.” or “I bequeath the residue of my estate (or _______% of the residue of my Estate) to the 15th Field Artillery Regiment Museum and Archives Society.” A specific amount could be detailed as in, "I give $_____________to support the work of the 15th Field Artillery Regimental Society.” or "I give $_____________to support the work of the 15th Field Artillery Regiment Museum and Archives Society.”
We strongly recommend that you consult a legal advisor when planning your will.
