Fort Siloso Singapore
Master Bombardier (Ret) Bill Barlow recently paid a visit to Fort Siloso in Singapore. It's certainly an impressive facility with a significant history as the Gibraltar of Asia. Unfortunately, over eighty thousand Commonwealth troops were over run by a much smaller Japanese force in the Second World War. Bill thought for sure there was an eerie feeling when he was walking along in one of the tunnels. It made him feel that he had to run to the next gun emplacement. They definitely say that the Fort is haunted. This could either be from the Gunners that manned the Fort or the Prisoners of War from the POW Camp that was established on the site after it was captured.
