Fort Lewis Easter 1972
There's a lot of work to do before the main party arrives when the decision is made to set up a field bivouac. Trucks to be unloaded, tents to be set up. I'm sure that Sergeant Gordie Wright has stood up countless tents in his time.
Flags to be flown and bell tents for accommodation. When all is said and done there's even time for a Black Label stop. Sergeant Gordie Wright, Eric Tyldesley-Gore, Bill Amos and ? sit down for a break while the guns are deployed elsewhere.
Looks like Gordie Wright needed an extra late night snack. Apparently the camp also attracts higher headquarters visitors. Chief Warrant Officer Wood, wearing a stylish helmet drawn from QM, shows up with an Ordnance Captain for an early morning coffee with Gordie Wright.

Sergeant Dave Strebe relays fire orders to the guns where the American Safety Officer clears the adjusting gun to fire. Appears that the quickness of the gun firing caught him off guard as his red safety helmet seems to have fallen off. I'm not sure, but it does appear as if that's Bombardier Brian Harmon as #1
Meanwhile, up at the OP, Captain Wayne Davidson's callsign is engaged in a Fire Mission. His OP Technician is Sergeant Keith Kasper with Gunner Leon Jensen as signaller.
