Milcon 77 - Yakima Firing Centre, WA
24 Jun–4 Jul 1977
The heat of the desert is a great place to warm up the wet bones of a Vancouver unit. Yakima Firing Centre provides the Regiment with a unique opportunity to train in an arid region. The Commanding Officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Wickett, tours the Area Commander and the District Commander through the training area.

The end of Milcon smoker. Steaks, some Olympia beer and the RSM’s chance encounter with a Gunner’s new tattoo. Even the American Safety Officer Lieutenant Gerolimo needs a beer after working with the Canadians for a week.
We've also got a young Sergeant Brian Hill and our RSS Master Warrant Officer Fred Rossi enjoying an Olympia, "It's the water!".
