The Remembrance Day salute takes place at Hallelujah Point in Stanley Park on an overcast November morning. The four gun Salute Troop is deployed under command of Lieutenant Ron Mathews. Once the guns are in location a single sentry is posted on each gun awaiting 1100 hours. Gunner Salah Kalmoni is posted on #3 gun.
The Regimental Band is also in location under the capable leadership of Captain Richard Van Slyke with Warrant officer Clive Walton as Drum Major. RHQ staff, Sergeant Brian Arberry and Warrant Officer Klaus Stockhorst, are standing to the rear of the Band with the Honoraries, Brigadier Robert DuMoulin and Lieutenant-Colonel Ron Webster.
The Salute Troop awaits the order to man the guns while checking out which retired members have shown up as spectators. Captain Steve Burridge leads Bombardiers Brad Smith, Steve Darragh and Barry Macleod while Master Bombardier Drew Bartlett is engaged in conversation with Mike Imada and two other members.
Lieutenant Ron Mathews gives the order for #3 gun to fire; Sergeant Stuart Haggerty, Gunner Randy Phillips, Gunner Salah Kalmoni #4 follows with Sergeant Dominic DaAssuncao; Gunner Malkit Kalsi and Gunner Bill Healey.
The 15th Field Regiment Cadet Corps is on parade to the left of the guns as #3 Gun fires.
#1 Gun fires! Sergeant Donato Calagero as #1, Bombardier Ric Bowes as #2 with Bombardier Rob Wishnicki and Bombardier Scott Waldman as loading numbers.
#2 Gun fires! Master Bombardier Kevin Rankin as #1, Bombardier Ken Chiu and Bombardier Oliver Young as loading numbers. #4 Gun fires! Sergeant Dominic Da Assuncao as #1.
