It wouldn't be a dinner without the firing of the miniature cannons and the outgoing RSM, Chief Warrant Officer Brian Cormier shows the proper form when firing his last round in uniform. It's amazing what new ideas germinate at a Mess Dinner. Apparently the 'bright idea fairy' suggested that the it would be an appropriate time to practice the funeral gun drill with the outgoing RSM. The new RSM, Chief Warrant Officer Eric Tyldesley-Gore leads the entourage with sword drawn. Master Warrant Officers George Wood and Bill Amos lead the limber with Warrant Officers Dave Levien and Leon Jensen assisting. In the rear, with the Funeral Gun, we have Warrant Officers Gary Palmatary, Mark Jackson, Richard Van Slyke and Sergeant Brian Hill.
Our Mess photographer, Warrant Officer Al Yelland, CD. Al took many photos over the years that helped to preserve the history of the regiment. Admittedly, this is hard work and even the photographer has to take a break once in a while…
