Sunset Retreat Ceremony
1st of July Sunset Ceremony with invited guests Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia, Walter Stuart Owen (Honorary Colonel of the 5th (BC) Field Artillery Battery, RCA) and a crowd of about 5,000 Americans.
The 4th of July performance included massed pipes and drums of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada and the Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's Own).
The Regimental Bands of the 15th Field Artillery Regiment, RCA, 5th (BC) Field Battery and the Royal Westminster Regiment were also in the programme. Drum Major Jim Hamilton leads the massed bands.
The 15th Field Artillery Regiment, RCA provided the percussion section for the 1812 Overture.
The American Army provide a salute for the 4th of July celebration with their M101 howitzers.
