Aldergrove Fair - 15 / 16 July 2017
Prepositioning the 25 Pounder and Limber at Ian Newby's on Wednesday before the parade. Bob Mugford at the wheel, Leon Jensen as co-driver with Al Woo as our safety vehicle. With Al's four way flashers on throughout the trip, we took the Granville Street, No 2 Road through Richmond, the Deas Island Tunnel, Hwy 1 and finally the Fraser Highway. The FAT performed admirably with one stop just before Cloverdale. It was pushing it to get up to 60 kms per hour and the engine was starting to overheat a bit on the hills.
Lots of 'Thumbs Up' along the route. Thank you Vancouver Drivers for not getting upset at us holding up traffic.
