There's a couple of opportunities for a couple of drivers / Gunners in the next week.
On Sat/Sun 11/12 Mar there will be a display in Abbotsford. The event is "Sky's No Limit - Girls Fly Too." Ian Newby will have his M109 on display and is looking for knowledgeable Gunners that can explain it's features. https://www.girlsfly2.ca/ This a volunteer event. On Tuesday 14 March, Ian is looking for a couple of HEMTT, LMTV and M925 drivers. Interested? Drop me a line at [email protected] (This is not a volunteer event) Remembrance Day and some great photos of past members that showed up for the salute. Great to see you, hope you keep in touch! Check out the other pictures in the 2016 Yearbook.

A quick stop into the Fort Bliss Military Museum. Some interesting vehicles, mostly Armour focused. The M2 105mm howitzer was not in the best of shape as it was missing a panoramic mount and a few other items. The Kids Command Centre might be something we should look into with our museum. It might be a great place for that Battle Dress tunic of mine that seems to have shrunk over time.
