The Band of the 15th Field Artillery Regiment RCA put on a fantastic show at the International Military Band Concert in Surrey on the Victoria Day long weekend. You can catch most of their tunes on the 2016 yearbook page. Don't forget to mark your calendar for next year's International Military Band Concert. You can always keep on top of the Band's schedule by going to their Facebook page. Back in 2000 the Regiment applied for and received a grant to rebuild the Museum's Field Artillery Tractor. Go to the 2000 yearbook page for more photos of the transformation.
More photos have surfaced from Ex March Gunner in Fort Lewis and Ex Limber Gunner in Shilo.
Visit of Italian Navy D550 Ardito and F564 Lupo The photographs are a little blurry and I'm only guessing that the year was 1982. Were you there? Life in the Militia appears to always have been a case of not having the resources to conduct proper training. And to think that 1938 was the year before war started.
Fort Lewis 1979 - Maybe...... Check out the photos and let me know if I picked the right date.
Came across some old news clippings that featured the 15th Brigade and the Bessborough Armoury.
1928 - Our first venture into mechanization 1933 - Selection of the Bessborough Armoury name 1934 - Opening Dday of Bessborough Armoury Added a few pictures in 1982 and 1983
1983 Blair shoot 1983 Milcon 1982 Milcon 1982 District Comd's parade Subalterns Dinner 1979 The attire is somewhat unorthodox... Routine Orders from 1942 have provided some interesting tidbits on rubber shortages and repair of socks! Of course, there's also 21 new names for the nominal roll from the list of Orderly Officers, Orderly Sergeants and Armoury Guards.

A copy of the "Gunner Gossip" from 1989 has surfaced thanks to Darren Kostinuk. Great to see some of the names and remember some of those details from the "YAK".
Also posted up photos from a Ft Lewis Exercise that probably took place in 1978. These include photos of the gun line from 408 Squadron. How well do those cam nets really work? Both of these photo groups may not have necessarily been taken in 1978. Please drop me a line if you think they were from another year. The Militia List for 1927 is now on-line with one addition to our nominal roll. The Black Bear puzzle photos have been placed in the 1983 yearbook as that is the year that is written at the top of the negatives. Not sure if this correct as there seems to be considerable likeness to 1980. Then again, it is Shilo. Does Shilo ever change?
Darren Kostinuk provided the parade programme for the 1962 Sunset Beach inspection by the Master Gunner of St James Park. His father was a drummer with the Regimental Band at the time. The programme provided an additional 15 names for the nominal roll which is now up to 1,444 names!
