The newspaper clippings from 1927 reveal a very busy year that included receiving the trophies won at the 1926 Sarcee Camp, the first salute fired for Dominion Day and the announcement of additional awards from the 1927 Sarcee Camp. There also appears to be a busy dance schedule in the Officers' Mess and the BC Brigade of Artillery holding reunions. Check out the stories in the 1927 Yearbook here.

Point Grey Fort The VAA president has purchased a Theta S 360 degree camera and has taken some trial videos at the Point Grey Fort. First impressions are quite good although the picture quality may be improved by only taking videos during optimum light days (Sunny days!). Episode 3 is now online. Arne buys a chicken farm in Port Kells and then sets out to join the Canadian Army. It's not that easy! He manages to join 15th (Vancouver) Coast Brigade, RCA and spend time at Narrow North and Stanley Park before volunteering for overseas service. You can find Episode 3 here. |
