Remembrance Day 2019 This year's Remembrance Day was the 100th since the formation of the 15th Brigade CFA 0n 2 February 1920. It is doubtful if a salute had been fired on that day as the Brigade may not have received its complement of guns. Additionally, it appears that the firing of a Commemorative Salute on 11 November was started in 1968 to honour the 50th anniversary of the end of World War I. Remembrance Day The Vancouver Sun article is the earliest known entry for the Regiment firing a Remembrance Day salute on 11 November. The article mentions that this was the 50th anniversary of the end of the First World War.

Bombardier Tracy Gu CD was presented her Canadian Forces Decoration. Sergeant Kazue Maruyama CD promoted and the Director of Music, Captain Cheryl McHugh CD, received her commissioning certificate.
