Gunner Allan Gow Carruthers enlisted with the 68th Overseas Depot Battery in February 1916. He was a jeweler and owner of the A.G. Carruthers Jewellers. In the Second World War he served with 201 Battery 11th (Reserve) Anti-Aircraft Regiment, RCA.
Gunner Frank George Hickling served with 15th Brigade, Canadian Field Artillery and the 5th Canadian Siege Battery during his service in the First World War. His granddaughter has recently found our online nominal roll and provided us with his photo. In return, we have linked her up with our copy of the War Diary so her family can read about her grandfather's experiences.
