One of the aims of the Vancouver Gunners website is a compilation of all the names and life stories of the men and women that have served with the 15th Field Artillery Regiment and its related units. We've got all the names of the 68th Field Battery, North Russia Expeditionary Force and their military biographies. However, we're still researching where they might have gone after the war. A recent example is that of Shoesmithing Corporal Victor Joseph Lord. He originally enlisted with the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, served with the 2nd Divisional Artillery Column and then volunteered with 68th Battery. His life after the war is virtually unknown, except that we did discover that he had been unknowingly declared deceased prematurely! Would you like to help us discover more of the history of the Guners that came before? Drop me a line at president.vcrgunners@gmail.com
