Members of the 15th Field Artillery Regiment RCA have embarked on many operational taskings. The unit can trace it's history back to 31 Field Battery at Vimy Ridge and the 68th Field Battery in North Russia. During World War II, the unit was activated to man the local coastal defences protecting Vancouver. Many of those soldiers went on to joining other artillery units fighting in Europe. The support to operations continued with soldiers on UN missions in the Middle East, Croatia, Bosnia, Cyprus and NATO support in Europe.
The latest photos uploaded are from Captain Rob Wishnicki's tour with OP ATTENTION in Afghanistan. There's a lot of photos and I've just uploaded some of the pre-deployment training, arriving in Afghanistan and a range practise. There will be more to follow.
